Corgi Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (**) Specifications

Just seeing this reproduction of Corgi's famous 1968 toy may get you humming the title tune to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Loosely based on an Ian Fleming children's book, the movie may not have been altogether memorable, but the car certainly was. It comes to life here with retractable wings, the GEN 11 license plate, and a figure of Caractacus Pott (even though he doesn't look a whole lot like Dick Van Dyke) in the driver's seat. The original toy became so sought after that it justified this version, which may become just as famous in its own right. A collector's piece. --Keith Simanton
